Our Story

OUR STORY

I first saw Annie walking down the aisle as a bridesmaid at her cousin, and my childhood friend, Katherine’s wedding in 2019. It was at that moment that I knew I wanted her to walk down the aisle toward me one day. But, it wasn’t until after the reception, at Fat Harry’s bar, that I mustered the courage to make my move. We hit it off right away…and just in time before I deployed to the Middle East and Annie prepared for medical school at UCF. Once I returned from my deployment, we officially started dating and haven't looked back.

Our long distance relationship has only made our love grow stronger as we have supported each other through some of the most important chapters of our lives - my transition out of the Army and Annie's medical school journey. But one of the toughest challenges has been our conflicting ideologies: Annie a diehard Florida Gator fan and me a devout supporter of the four-time National Champion LSU Tigers. Luckily, the “rivalry” has been dominated by one side throughout our relationship, so it has made it a bit easier for us to overcome.

We got engaged on May 25, 2024 in NYC's scenic Central Park. I created a fake weekend itinerary so Annie thought we would be going to a Broadway play that day. Instead, after lunch at JG Melon with my brother, Kyle, and future sister-in-law, Mari, I took Annie on a walk through the park until we got to the perfect spot. I popped the question and she said yes! After the proposal, we walked to Tavern on the Green where some of our family and closest friends surprised her.

We’re excited to start the next chapter of our lives as Annie finishes medical school and I begin my new job in Boston. We’re so grateful for your love and support which brought us to this joyful time. We couldn’t be happier to celebrate our marriage with everyone on May 24, 2025 at the historic St. Patrick’s Church and party the night away in true New Orleans fashion!
