When do I need to RSVP by?
We kindly request you RSVP by April 24th, 2025.
What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venues?
Wedding Ceremony: St. Patrick's Church (724 Camp Street, New Orleans, LA 70130) // Reception: Latrobe's on Royal (403 Royal Street, New Orleans, LA 70130)
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00PM. Please arrive no later than 6:45PM to ensure everyone is seated so we may begin on time.
When does the reception begin?
Latrobe's will welcome our first guests immediately following our ceremony at St. Patrick's Church - approximately 8:30PM.
What is a "second line"?
In true New Orleans fashion, we’ll be ending our reception with a Second Line parade—a beloved local tradition full of music, dancing, and celebration!
The "First Line" is typically the brass band leading the way, and the "Second Line" is everyone else—that's you! Guests join in behind the band, waving handkerchiefs or parasols, dancing through the streets with joy and energy. It’s a symbol of celebration, community, and letting the good times roll—New Orleans-style!
We’ll be parading from our reception to Pat O’Brien’s Bar, a legendary French Quarter spot known for its iconic Hurricanes, lively piano bar, and classic courtyard atmosphere. Get ready to dance, cheer, and send us off in the most unforgettable way!
Pro tip: the streets of New Orleans are full of charm—but not always the smoothest! We recommend packing a pair of comfortable shoes in your purse for the Second Line or ditching the heels altogether for a lower, more walkable pair so you can dance the night away with ease.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Our wedding will be completely indoors.
Will there be a seated dinner at the wedding reception?
Our reception will be cocktail-style with passed hors d'oeuvres, appetizers, and food stations. We are big foodies, so trust us - there will be plenty of food!
Will you be serving alcohol?
Yes - our reception will have an open bar.
Is there a dress code for the wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is black-tie optional. We ask that men wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women wear an evening gown or midi or knee-length cocktail dress.
Are children invited to the wedding?
While we adore children, we've opted for an adults-only affair to allow everyone to relax and enjoy the celebration. We hope you understand our decision and can arrange childcare for the evening. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, please don't hesitate to contact us directly to discuss further.
Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
Because of limited venue space, we unfortunately can't accommodate plus-ones beyond those named on the wedding invitation. We hope you understand our decision.
